GHL to showcase processing system

Visitors to GHL Group’s stand at Mortgage Business Expo London (MBE) will see demonstrations of ‘Powercase’, a system developed and designed for distribution to the network’s Appointed Representative and Directly Authorised satellite packagers and their advisers.

The tool is a web native, hosted solution built using .Net 2.0, C# and ASP.net utilising an MS SQL database.

Powercase will provide GHL Group’s satellite packagers with extensive case tracking tools. It allows them to process Decision In Principle (DIP) requests submitted electronically by their advisers, responding in-house or passing them on to GHL Group’s Placements Department.

The next phase of ‘Powercase’ will see full integration using XML links for instant online decisions, which will continue to be an ongoing feature with product providers during 2008.

Elsewhere within the Powercase suite is a white label website that can be customised by the packager to match their trading style, which is then available to their broker / adviser network. This website provides advisers with online dynamic DIPs and full mortgage applications, including the adviser’s own case tracking facilities.

GHL Group will embark on an aggressive rollout plan in December, as they continue to provide IT solutions that help submit business in a more effective and efficient manner. Visitors to the stand can also learn more about the network’s packaged and branded mortgage panels and its Appointed Representative recruitment drive.

Commenting on the upcoming event, John Smith, GHL Group sales & marketing director, said: “Last year we registered hundreds of online users on the back of a strong proposition. Our appetite for continued growth has seen the business flourish over the last 12 months both in terms of our network service offering and our Appointed Representative numbers following our recent acquisition of Classic Network Solutions.

“We have recently introduced more lenders to our packaged panel and have looked to diversify by securing partnerships in bridging finance and a debt resolution service. The focus this year will be on showcasing just how our proposition has grown and demonstrating our advances in IT and e-commerce with the launch of Powercase.”
