Equity release pavilion at the Expo

Running over both days of the show, the Equity Release Pavilion offers intermediaries the chance to meet with and evaluate a large number of the UK’s equity release product providers, while benefiting from the free seminars organised by the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI).

These will consist of:

  • Entering the equity release market – Dean Mirfin, business development director at KRS and Stuart Wilson, managing director of Equity Release Advisory Service
  • State benefits and equity release – Dean Mirfin and Gareth Morgan, managing director of Fintal
  • Regulation and equity release – FSA on day one and Tish Hanafan, barrister at Legal Support Services on day two.
On behalf of KRS, Dean Mirfin said: “By sponsoring the Equity Release Pavilion, KRS is demonstrating its continued commitment to supporting the growth of good advice in this market.

“As the UK's leading specialist adviser in the equity release market, joining forces with the Mortgage Business Expo to support the Equity Release Pavilion was a natural move for us. Some of the areas we will be focusing on at this year's Expo are the process of marketing to the elderly and how to generate good quality leads from the retired market. We will look closely at the ideas that underpin equity release as well as other aspects of the market including regulation.

Show manager of the Manchester Mortgage Business Expo, Daniel Nwaokolo, also commented: “The Equity Release Pavilion continues our commitment to this growing specialist market. We are delighted to welcome KRS as our Pavilion sponsors – as one of the UK’s leading firms of specialist equity release advisers, they will bring to Expo a wealth of information and knowledge to share with delegates.

“The Pavilion will provide full information on what it takes to be a successful equity release adviser and will also offer insight into referral opportunities for those firms who may wish to pass on potential equity release clients to specialist firms.”

The show runs over two days from 16-17 May at Manchester Central (formerly G-MEX).
