Compliancy Services adds to consulting team

As the FSA continues to deliver on its promise to get tough with those firms working outside any regulatory perimeter, Compliancy Services has strengthened its team of compliance consultants to help manage growing demand. These additions will enable the compliance specialist to provide an even greater level of ongoing support and guidance through all aspects of a firms business relating to FSA regulation.

The appointments consist of Colin Iles and Ray Randerson. Colin’s previous career with the Halifax and latterly HBoS spanned over 30 years. The last five of these saw him undertake the positions of regional risk and compliance manager and risk and compliance manager for telephony sales.

Ray also has wide ranging knowledge within the financial services arena. He possesses the benefits of many years operating as a financial adviser and mortgage broker experiencing both the directly authorised and appointed representative route. Ray is vastly experienced in compliance matters having spent time being authorised by the FSA and as group compliance office at a major packaging firm as well as an extensive period as an external compliance consultant.

Claire Wilkinson, retail director at Compliancy Services, commented: “These are important additions to our consulting team which reflect both the growth of the business and the strength of the infrastructure within our compliance support which is vital when working within current regulatory boundaries. We’re delighted to welcome aboard such highly experienced and knowledgeable experts in their fields who will certainly help strengthen our existing team even further.”
