Britannia's new 5 year fixed rate mortgage is offering a rate of 4.94% ( 6.0% APR) up to 95% LTV with £349 arrangement fee. The product previously had a rate of 5.09%, which means a drop of 15 basis points.
The Society is also launching a new 10 year fixed rate mortgage at 5.19% (5.8% APR) and a new two year fixed rate mortgage with a rate of 4.94% (6.3% APR), both up to 95% LTV and both with an arrangement fee of £349.
Dominic Facci, acting head of marketing at Britannia, said: "With the repricing of these three fixed rate mortgages, not only offers the customer a great rate but also peace-of-mind."
These mortgages are available to all borrowers, from house purchasers to remortgagers, and are portable.
