Bridgewater launches online tracking

Developed in conjunction with Bridgewater’s solicitor partners, the facility will enable advisers to monitor the progress of each case through the legal process. It is available through the firm’s EQUiP system.

Solicitors working on Bridgewater’s active cases log the progress, giving advisers up-to-date information which can be accessed quickly and efficiently 24 hours a day.

EQUiP enables advisers to produce KFIs, complete an application form online and manage client applications, thereby significantly reducing any duplication of work and speeding up the application process.

Peter Couch, managing director of Bridgewater Equity Release, said: “At Bridgewater we are committed to improving the service we provide to our intermediary partners and delivering technological enhancements that will enable them to use their time more effectively.

“This new case-tracking facility, available for all cases submitted to Bridgewater, provides an invaluable tool for advisers allowing them to check on the status of their client’s case at any time once a client offer has been accepted. This will enable advisers to deliver accurate and timely information to their client throughout the legal process of their case.”

Kevin Stelfox, managing director of Equity Release Solutions, added: "The Bridgewater Equity Release online tracking system allows immediate access to specific information regarding a certain case, making sure that advisers and administrators know exactly what is happening in the process. Online tracking services are proving to be the most popular time-saving devices for busy intermediaries with no holding in telephone queues to get updates on cases.”
