Duncombe will take on the new role on 1 January 2021 following the retirement of Charles Canning.

YBS appoints Jeremy Duncombe as managing director of Accord

Yorkshire Building Society has appointed Jeremy Duncombe (pictured) as managing director of Accord Mortgages.

Duncombe will take on the new role on 1 January 2021 following the retirement of Charles Canning, chief customer officer at Yorkshire Building Society and managing director of Accord Mortgages.

Canning who is set to officially retire in February 2021, has spent over 33 years at the society.

Duncombe has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, and has spent the last three years at Accord Mortgages.

In addition, Duncombe will lead mortgage distribution at Yorkshire Building Society.

Duncombe is currently deputy chair of the Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association (IMLA).
