Cambridge Building Society has launched a dedicated website for brokers.

The Cambridge has put the key information at the centre of the website, with three sections in the form of ‘product selector’, ‘criteria’ and ‘search by rate’.

It also has tools, with the most notable being an affordability calculator, which reflects The Cambridge’s lending policy.

Andy Lucas, chief operating officer at The Cambridge, said: “Our goal was to make it easier for intermediaries to get to the information they need to support their clients and place business with us. Part of this was ensuring they had their own URL.

“The website is our online shop window and we are committed to increasing our profile digitally so that intermediaries can access information in a fast and simple manner.

“Embracing technology and harnessing the potential of online systems is therefore essential for us. We are dedicated to looking at every digital touchpoint to see how we can work with technology to ensure great outcomes for all every single time.”

With the product selector system intermediaries will be shown to a list of products tailored to the client they are working with after answering just three questions.

Its criteria search functionality allows for unusual terms such as listed buildings as well searching by date.

The society launched the site after consulting and researching with its intermediary partners.
