LV=GI hires corporate responsibility director

LV= General Insurance(LV= GI) has appointed Rodney Assock as its corporate responsibility director.

Assock (pictured) has been with LV= for 13 years and in that time has held a number of roles, including operational services director.

Sharon Juleff, people director at LV=GI, said:“Increasingly, we’re seeing that customers want to buy products and services from companies who share their values and that also have a strong societal purpose.

“I’m a firm believer that LV= GI’s culture and our values set us apart from our competitors and I’m incredibly proud of what our people do every day to help our customers.

“Over the years, we’ve also worked hard to support our local communities and also focus on D&I.

“With consumer expectations changing though, it’s now crucial that we bring all the positive work we’ve been doing under one umbrella and I know Rodney will do a fantastic job of taking our CSR and D&I work to the next level.”

Assock added: “I’ve seen first-hand how much passion there is for CSR and D&I within LV= GI, so I’m looking forward to working with our people to drive forward our CSR and D&I strategy.

“Sustainability is an incredibly important issue to our customers and I’m excited by the opportunity that LV= GI has in putting forward its social purpose and making a real difference in the communities in which we operate.”
