The campaign aims to help customers who would rather look for a broker than directly approach their lender.
Sue Heron, marketing and sales director at Furness Building Society, said: “Such a large proportion of our business is received through this sector but research told us that some consumers still aren’t sure about why and how to use a broker.
“We recognise that many people are now looking to seek a broker, and we’d like to help those people also.
“We’re a mutual building society with a traditional model but understand we need to take a modern approach when reaching out to people and helping them find what they’re looking for.”
The campaign follows Furness’ successful intermediary channel which brought a significant proportion of their mortgage business in 2016.
