Vantage bolsters BDM team

Specialist distributor Vantage Finance has expanded its team of business development managers.

Vantage has hired Gina Lancaster to manage relationships in South London and the South of England and David Coleman for North London and the East of England.

In January it hired Joe Aston with responsibility for the Midlands and North and Sashi Butcher for West London and the South West.

In April 2016 private equity firm Chiltern Capital purchased a minority stake in Vantage, prompting a rebrand andstaff investment.

Jon Daniels, sales director at Vantage, said: “Vantage Finance has ambitious growth plans following investment into the business in 2016 and these appointments reflect our commitment to delivering on these.

“As a business, Vantage is known for its service and it is to maintain the quality that is valued by our broker partners that have decided to invest in a business development team that can serve the needs of our key partners across the country.

“We know how important face time is for brokers dealing with clients day-in, day-out and also how valuable having access to a dedicated case manager can be when cases need to be processed quickly.

“The whole team is looking forward to getting out and meeting brokers who think Vantage could complement the service they offer their clients.”

Lancaster has 15 years’ experience in sales roles across a range of industries including brewer Heineken, global research firm Gartner and HR software business People Care HR.

Coleman joined Vantage from V12 Finance where he was a field sales executive responsible for generating revenue in excess of £1m.

Aston joined from international recruitment firm Hays, where he spent the past five years in sales.

And Butcher has worked in relationship based roles for Allied Irish Bank, Barclays & HSBC.

Lucy Hodge (pictured), managing director of Vantage, said: “It’s been six months since Jon came on board and that short time he’s put in place a decisive strategy to grow our business and is supporting that with these appointments.

“This year is set to be one of steady growth, with several key distribution announcements planned in the coming months.

“It’s down to Jon and his team, who have already shown their commitment to supporting the brokers we work with as well as developing relationships with those who are new to Vantage.”
