The training provides expert insights into regulated and unregulated lending
Bridging lender London Credit has announced two free CPD-accredited training workshops for brokers, offering expert guidance on the distinctions between regulated and unregulated lending.
The workshops are scheduled for October 9 and 10 at London Credit’s Soho Square office, with Ray Cohen from Jackson Cohen Associates leading the sessions. He will present on the topic of regulated versus unregulated lending.
Each event will include a Q&A session and conclude with a networking opportunity featuring food and wine. Brokers who are interested to attend can now register online.
“These events will help brokers to gain greater insight into which loans are regulated, which are unregulated and which are exempt,” said Marios Theophanous (pictured), credit manager at London Credit. “It will explain why the difference matters, set out what permissions are needed and offer a chance for brokers to pose questions about specific scenarios.
“Understanding how processes and responsibilities vary between regulated and unregulated lending is a vital consideration for all brokers and Ray Cohen is an excellent speaker with great expertise in this area. I would encourage brokers to register as soon as possible before this event also becomes oversubscribed.”
London Credit is a London-based lender that provides bridging loans for property investment and business purposes, to borrowers from the UK and overseas. The lender organised a similar training event in 2021, but it was conducted online considering the restrictions and travel limitations during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
