Ashley Ilsen to leave Regentsmead and set up new lender

Ashley Ilsen, formerly CMO and head of lending at Regentsmead, is set to leave the firm to launch a new development finance lender.

Ilsen (pictured) said the new lender will be looking to add an extra dimension to the development space.

He said: “With some exciting finance partners lined up this will enable the new company to create a unique offering into the development finance market; a sector I believe is lacking in overall quality.

"The new source of capital will allow us to offer extremely competitive funding, twinned with a highly experienced team and dynamic development finance products.”

He also praised Regentsmead and the team within the business.

He added: “It’s been an amazing five years at Regentsmead, after being given the opportunity to work my way up through the business and head up the lending department, alongside Sam Howard.

"I will have nothing but fond memories of my time at Regentsmead, however I think now is the time for a fresh challenge.

“I will be releasing further details of our funding partners, along with key industry individuals that will be working with me to grow this new venture over the next few months."

The official launch date has been set for late Spring 2018.
