Abbie Jefferis began her career as a teller at New England Federal Credit Union, where she worked all through college; upon graduating, she took up a processing position. As a secondary market analyst, Jefferis sets her company’s mortgage rates daily; she’s also a member of the product development team, serving in a variety of roles for two loan origination system conversions.
“I really like all of the different projects I get to work on here at NEFCU,” she says. “My responsibilities extend beyond traditional secondary market duties, and I really enjoy the variety of work. I love being a part of the product development team and working with managers on new mortgage offerings to best serve our membership base.”
Outside of NEFCU, Jefferis is a member of the Vermont Mortgage Bankers Association and sits on the education committee; she is also currently working on her MBA.
