Guaranteed Rate's new platform embraces real estate data

Guaranteed Rate is known for its commitment to technology, and the retail lender is scaling that technology by expanding into the world of real estate.

Well, real estate data, anyway.

The company recently launched Guaranteed Rate Research, a data-driven platform built to help consumers research neighborhoods and gain insights on real estate markets.

The data-driven platform offers a statistical overview of nearly every prime real estate market in the country. Homebuyers can search by city or zip code to find population data, for-sale inventory and average sales prices. Other market data available includes: price per square foot, median list price and average days on market.

“Purchasing a home is one of life’s biggest decisions,” said Guaranteed Rate founder and CEO Victor Ciardelli. “Our Market Research platform provides a centralized place to help homebuyers make informed decisions and better know their neighborhoods. They can review and analyze market insights such as neighborhood property trends, home prices, school districts, population demographics, income levels and other important information needed to make the best buying decisions possible.”

The site also provides independent editorial content featuring objective news and analysis to enhance the homebuying journey for consumers. Topics range from helpful tips for improving personal finances to saving and overcoming financial challenges.
