Total Mortgage Services, LLC, has announced the hiring of industry veteran Andy Pettola as its new executive vice president in charge of its wholesale division, Total Mortgage Wholesale.

Pettola, who has 21 years of industry experience and 10 years of experience building high-performing mortgage sales teams, will focus on increasing wholesale production and hiring, as well as developing and motivating account executives throughout the country. Joining him at Total Mortgage Wholesale is a team of nine account executives from MSI. The team was responsible for over $1bn in loan production last year.

“Andy Pettola is a proven leader with core sales management skills, market vision and the ability to bring professionals together and focus on a common goal,” said John Walsh, president of Total Mortgage Services. “During his career, Andy has consistently exceeded both sales and profitability benchmarks while providing a best-in-class service experience to the mortgage broker community. We are extremely pleased to have him join our leadership team.”

Prior to joining Total Mortgage Wholesale, Pettola was a divisional vice president at MSI. While there, Pettola created and led the company’s Northeast Region sales team, which averaged $1bn of loan production per year and supported more than 400 clients. Prior to his experience at MSI, Pettola served as a regional vice president at both AmTrust and MortgageIT/Deustche Bank.
