TMS announces hire for wholesale push

TMS has announced that it added Greg Reed as it strives to reach its goal to originate $1 billion a month by 2022.

Reed joins the company as senior vice president of wholesale. He will oversee inside sales at TMS and help the channel reach the origination goal.

“I am passionate about the wholesale channel and am excited to deliver on TMS’s mission to champion our broker clients’ success and happiness,” Reed said.

Reed brings more than 20 years of experience in sales, operations, and servicing. He was most recently vice president at Cardinal Financial. In that role, Reed was responsible for all inbound and outbound consumer-direct sales in the Dallas, Chicago, and Irvine markets, along with recruitment, hiring, licensing, and facilities management.

“Greg is a true mortgage industry leader and brings unique knowledge and skills to further fuel our wholesale channel,” said Pete Sokolovic, president of originations. “His customer-centric and data-driven approach will be instrumental as we experience significant growth.”

Reed will report to Sokolovic and will work alongside James Hooper, senior vice president of wholesale sales; Chris D'Auria, senior vice president of wholesale production; and Natalie Verrette, executive vice president of retail operations.
