OpenClose, a provider of multi-channel loan origination systems and mortgage fintech, has announced the addition of Joseph Wade to its development team.

Wade is a senior LOS and mortgage software developer. He joins OpenClose from Finastra, formerly D+H. OpenClose said Wade will play an integral role in software innovation and enhancements at the company.

“OpenClose is constantly advancing and adding new functionality to our suite of mortgage software solutions and Joseph’s extensive experience in the LOS space coupled with his rich development background will quickly add value,” OpenClose CEO and CTO Jason Regalbuto said. “We are excited about what Joseph brings to the table and how he can assist with our long-term software development strategy.”

While at Finastra, Wade contributed to development efforts for the New Products Lending Team. He was also the manager of the MortgagebotLOS Development Team. Wade was responsible for expanding the LOS platform and the launch of major releases of the system. Other responsibilities included rewriting a point-of-sale system, migrating to a multi-tenant architecture, transitioning to a single database structure, implementing complex business rule logic, and overall platform performance optimization.
