Mellohome adds Keller Williams Realty leader to team

LoanDepot sister company mellohome has appointed Jerimiah Taylor to its leadership team as executive vice president responsible for overseeing the development of business systems, processes, and strategies.

Most recently, Taylor served as team leader for Keller Williams Realty. His appointment follows the announcement that Jonathan Berkowitz, who had also served in Keller Williams, joined mellohome and loanDepot as chief innovation officer. Taylor will report to mellohome CEO Chris Heller, who joined the company in February from Keller Williams, where he served as CEO.

In his new role, Taylor’s responsibilities include scaling customer acquisition as well as expanding the mellohome preferred agent network. He will also partner with executive leadership and teams within loanDepot on the mortgage and real estate purchase process.

Taylor has more than 17 years of experience in both the mortgage and real estate industries.

"What's exciting for me about this opportunity is that it's an absolute intersection of everything that I've done to date and love," Taylor said. "It's essentially taking everything from real estate, mortgage, and future ancillary verticals and then applying technology and people power to ensure that customers have access to best-in-class products, processes, and experiences."

"Jerimiah is an exceptional team leader and problem-solver," Heller said. "He is quick to identify opportunities, craft solutions, and deploy them systematically across an enterprise. His results speak for themselves. I'm delighted to have him partner with us to transform mellohome into America's leading homeownership brand."
