Digital Risk has announced that it appointed Sadie Gurley as head of diligence services.

Digital Risk is an origination, due diligence, compliance, and technology services company that partners with the mortgage, consumer lending, and financial services companies.

A former Goldman Sachs executive, Gurley brings more than 20 years of experience in mortgage banking and real estate to the role. While at Goldman, she served as vice president on the asset-backed securities and mortgage trading desks. In that role, Gurley had responsibility for the purchase and securitization of mortgages, auto loans, manufactured housing, and other asset classes.

Gurley joined Digital Risk from GreenLake Investment Partners, which she founded. She also served as managing partner at the company, which is an investment vehicle focused on rehabilitating and reselling bank-owned or real estate-owned assets.

"At a time when proper implementation of TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) is straining the resources of financial institutions, the industry needs transformative, agile due diligence solutions and technologies," Gurley said. "I look forward to leading an innovative team in their efforts to provide next-generation due diligence services to Digital Risk clients."

Earlier in her career, Gurley managed a prime, sub-prime, and manufactured housing whole loan and securities portfolio at Fortress Investment Group. She later served as managing director and a senior portfolio manager at Marathon Asset Management. While at the company, Gurley chaired the board and co-created Marix Servicing, a mortgage servicer licensed in all 50 states.
