Bank forms new mortgage division in Pennsylvania

Mid Penn Bank has announced the formation of First Priority Mortgage, a new mortgage banking division servicing the southeastern Pennsylvania region.

First Priority Mortgage will operate throughout the region, with offices in Conshohocken, Media, Doylestown, Montgomeryville, Blue Bell, West Chester, and Lancaster. The team includes 10 residential mortgage loan originators and a full origination support team.

“Residential mortgage lending is a fundamental aspect of community banking,” said Rory Ritrievi, president of Mid Penn Bank. “By committing resources to aide customers in achieving part of the American dream, the bank will have the opportunity to deepen customer relationships and build mutual loyalty.”

Kate Moyer, marketing officer for Mid Penn Bank, told The Mercury that as the company moved into markets in southeastern Pennsylvania, it wanted to ensure Mid Penn was positioned to deliver “quickly and efficiently.”

The new group was established as First Priority Mortgage, a division of Mid Penn Bank, she said, because it will be primarily partnering with branches and calling offers in markets that currently operate under the First Priority brand.
