Quicken Loans’ Rocket Mortgage unit has teamed up with esports gaming firm 100 Thieves for a unique project.

The partnership marks Rocket Mortgage’s first entry into esports and will see 100 Thieves’ League of Legends players and staff living and training in the Rocket Mortgage Team House.

The luxury home in California has been designed to meet the needs of world class esports athletes; described as “6,000 square feet of pure gaming nirvana.”

“Home is at the heart of everything we do in our lives, whether that is welcoming a new member to the family, or providing the best training house on the planet for some of the most elite athletes in esports today,” said Jay Farner, Quicken Loans CEO. “As the nation’s largest FinTech lender, and the creator of the first ever completely online mortgage experience, we are aligning our brand with a subculture that embodies what we stand for as a company – industry disrupting and groundbreaking innovation.”

Along with naming rights for the team house Rocket Mortgage’s logo will appear on the team’s jerseys and be integrated into its social media and other digital channels.

100 Thieves is one of 10 teams selected to compete in the 2018 North American League of Legends Championship Series (NA LCS).
