National lender partners with real estate firms for NV launch

New Penn Financial has launched a new business in Nevada along with real estate firms Dickson Realty and Ferrari-Lund Real Estate.

Synergy Home Mortgage will partner with Realtors in the state to provide a complete suite of residential mortgage products for their clients.

“Our loan officers are based right here in Reno, and they are readily available for face-to-face meetings with clients and to answer questions, address issues, and move buyers smoothly through the mortgage process,” said Dereck Bowlen, Branch Manager of Synergy Home Mortgage. “Through our partnership with New Penn, we’re able to provide competitive pricing and low fees, which means more purchasing power for Realtors and their clients.”

The office is initially staffed by five loan officers working alongside Bowlen with a combined 100 years of experience.

Philadelphia-based New Penn is one of the fastest-growing mortgage lenders in the US with 160 offices across the country. The Synergy Home Mortgage joint venture operates under New Penn’s Shelter Mortgage division.

“New Penn Financial and Shelter Mortgage are excited to grow the JV space and committed to expanding across the US by partnering with real estate offices who want to provide a full-service offering to their local client base,” said Corey Caster, CEO of Shelter Mortgage. “We’re excited for this partnership with Dickson Realty and Ferrari-Lund, who have the number one and number two market share in Washoe County.”
