Homeownership rates in 2014 were the lowest they have been in over 20 years while the number of renter-occupied residences grew by 2 million last year.

    "But the markets doing great!"
Idiots. We are in a communication age and still not in tune with what's what's really going on.
This news impacts all of us if your senior selling your home to move to Florida or you're a new married couple looking to buy a new home or just want to downsize... we're all stuck!

market was good only because investors (private and Wall Street) came to buy foreclosures and are currently renting them out. That market is now drying up since the property values are NOT going up. guys like me buying homes won't buy a foreclosure unless it's $.50 on the dollar.

so put your seatbelt on looks like we're in for another rough ride until somebody takes the reins and fixes the mortgage finance industry. And that does not look promising for this year.
