Freddie Mac Multifamily elevates four leaders to executive roles

Freddie Mac Multifamily has added four vice presidents to its executive team.

The GSE named Geri Borger Urgo as vice president of production and sales, Michael Case as vice president of multifamily capital markets, Catherine Evans as vice president of small balance loan (SBL) underwriting, and Amanda Nunnink as vice president of multifamily investor relations.

Urgo will oversee the production teams in the Southeast and Northeast regions, where she will continue reporting to Richard Martinez, vice president of production and sales. Urgo held several production leadership roles at Freddie Mac Multifamily. Most recently, she led production and sales for the Southeast region as senior director. Urgo also served as interim director for the Northeast region.

As VP of multifamily capitals, Case will manage all multifamily loan pricing functions and will report to Robert Koontz, vice president of multifamily capital markets. Case began his career at Freddie Mac Multifamily in 2017 as senior director of pricing. Before Freddie Mac, he worked as director of real estate capital markets and CMBS trading at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York.

Evans joined the Freddie Mac Conventional Chicago team in 2002. Later in 2017, she led underwriting for the SBL business as senior director. Evans will report to Steve Lansbury, senior vice president of underwriting and credit.

Nunnink will lead the investor relations team, which markets multifamily securities platforms, such as K-deals, to bond and real estate investors. Like Case, Nunnink will report to Koontz.

“As Freddie Mac Multifamily continues to transform our business and lead into the future, identifying and developing skilled leaders who exemplify our values is essential,” said Debby Jenkins, executive vice president of Freddie Mac Multifamily. “I couldn’t be more pleased to see these four accomplished leaders advance their careers at Freddie Mac. Although each possesses unique abilities, all of them demonstrate the best of our culture — valuing relationships, diverse strengths, excellence in execution, and a continual commitment to best-in-class service.”
