eLEND/AFR taps Chapman, Patel for leadership positions

eLEND/American Financial Resources has tapped industry vets Craig Chapman and Jay Patel for leadership positions within the company

eLEND/American Financial Resources has tapped industry vets Craig Chapman and Jay Patel for leadership positions within the company. Chapman has been named senior vice president of global affinity and strategic alliances, while Patel has been named vice president of global affinity and strategic alliances.

Chapman brings more than 20 years of experience to eLEND/AFR. He was instrumental in opening the 1st Commonwealth Bank of Virginia. While there, he grew the mortgage unit to a $30 million monthly run rate, pushing the bank into profitability in under 18 months. Chapman brings with him expertise in asset valuation, loss mitigation, underwriting and secondary marketing, as well as sales and marketing best practices and execution.
Chapman has also held executive positions at First National Bank of Arizona and Greenpoint Financial (Capital One).

Patel has more than 14 years of mortgage industry experience. He has held leadership positions at 1st Commonwealth Bank of Virginia, Mortgage Harmony Corp., and First National Bank of Arizona, where he was responsible for growing the New York and Metro D.C. markets to more than $400 million each in annual production.
