American Financial Network (AFN) has appointed Sean Browning as executive vice president of production.

In his new role, Browning will be responsible for the mortgage lender’s retail and wholesale production through leading, supporting, and recruiting talent. With the hire, American Financial plans to enhance and expand its branch network.

"Sean is an accomplished professional," AFN CEO Jack Sherman said. "He brings the experience, capabilities, and energy that are required to step into this position. We are already on an upward trajectory, and I am confident Sean can enhance and intensify our goals for continued growth and expansion."

With over 25 years of experience in developing sales teams, Browning previously held roles in GMAC, SCME, Stearns, and Sierra Pacific.

"I am absolutely thrilled to be here working with a team that is focused and providing the essential tools, products, and technology for the AFN production team to thrive and be successful," Browning said.

"AFN has had continued growth and forward momentum throughout its history," Sherman said. "We believe Sean's strategic approach, enthusiasm, and proven track record in previous positions will expedite the nationwide brand recognition we are striving to achieve.
