It appears TNR has become an AMC advertisers heaven. The front and back page is nothing more than an advertisement for AMC's. I read this magazine for content, not to be sold on AMC's. Put meat on the front page, not fluff.

Jim - Thank you for noticing! I knew we would take some flack on this. There are a couple of things I would like to say, so please bear with me on this. I have addressed this in the past.

First, please read my founders letter from the Dec 2009 issue. It discusses why we sell the front cover:

Second, please see link to our big announcement about going to a paid subscription:

One of the big reasons we plan on taking this to a "paid subscription" is to control what goes on our front cover (Sending an over 3.5 ounce magazine via first class mail for nearly 20,000 subscribers is not cheap - please do the math and tell me what you come up with, because I promise you it will be more).

The big question is - Are YOU willing to pay the subscription fee? The fee, as you can see, will be extremely nominal (in fact, for current subscribers, it breaks down to $1.67 per issue).
