Wells Fargo says it’s already paid enough

Wells Fargo and the U.S. government have a minor disagreement. The government thinks Wells should pay a lot of money for making bad mortgages, and Wells thinks it’s paid quite enough money, thank you very much

    "already Paid 5 billion" was that before all the other billion of dollars in mortgages were discovered that Wells covered up and hid from the gov't? Paying then and paying on additional claims are two very different situations. Guess Wells should have done the right thing during those mortgage mods and 2mp program days. Consumer's are still paying for those acts of fraud, so should Wells. Selling those bad mortgages to third party collectors as mlo's are seeing today on consumer credit reports is a problem too. Yes Wells should pay additional along with additional litigation!
