    I'm all for common sense rules and regulations. But the CFPB is an out of control dictatorship with no oversight that is clearly running rampant. They need to be reigned in, and it needs to happen now before they destroy any more.

    So stupid... fine fine fine companies left and right. Companies are not stupid. Any egregious fines they levy on a company is just passed on to the consumer... The same people the CFPB claims they are protecting.

    So then let's give the CFPB to ability to imprison offenders instead of fining them.

    This latest move by the AGs is further proof of what an unethical sham the bureaucracy really is!
