    Folly - it took a Senator over three years to figure this out. Those of us Originators knew this was a problem when the legislation was first proposed. Maybe someday, the legislators will consult with Originators during the development of the legislation - or just keep getting it wrong, excluding certain classes of citizens, and then having to go back and fix it.

    still won't quite fix it for small mortgage amount borrowers.

    They need to repeal the compensation reform part of Dodd Frank. It is hurting the consumer on both low and high mortgage amounts and taking out the competition for clients to be able to shop
