    Wait a minute, you mean want people to do the same thing now that they should have done before Dodd-Frank.

    The new "obama" mortgage rules require price fixing where all borrowers must pay the same price if going to the same lender. this has encouraged lenders and brokers to charge more as they don't want to get burned by small mortgages. Borrowers could previously get better deals if they were better shoppers. Now everyone gets the new, higher price. Good job FED!
