CFPB won't budge on date for new rules

CFPB director Richard Cordray has said rules scheduled to take effect next January will not be delayed despite a forthcoming second round of proposed changes

    Mr. Cordray and his team have shown they have no ability to even comprehend the simpliest unintended consequences. Since he claims to have highly competent staff, these must then be intended consequences.

    Why the rush to push out these rules when he acknowledges the unintended consequences? I believe he has an ethics issue. It is about his power over citizens versus his service to citizens.
