Bank of America consistently allows foreclosed homes in minority neighborhoods to fall into disrepair while maintaining and marketing foreclosed homes in predominantly white neighborhoods, according to a complaint by the National Fair Housing Alliance

I encourage this government to keep increasing their pressure on what they think is discrimination in lending. I want to see it reach a point where all lenders blow the whistle and stop mortgage lending for six months or so. The disparate impact rule is moving that right along. If you can prove intent with statistics alone you might also prove there is a tooth fairy.

It begs the question - did BofA "allow" these homes to fall into disrepair? Or were they already in that condition when foreclosed upon?
