A new study shows that women in one major market are much less likely to attain a mortgage than their male counterparts.

    2. The thrust of this whole article is garbage. Why would you publish something like this with no attempt - as a trade publication - to seek some kind of balance?

    Why would any lender discriminate against a woman if she qualifies and the lender will get paid when the mortgage fund?

    That is almost like saying unemployed people are being discriminated against because the do not qualify for as many mortgages as employed people. With out the statistics to back up your claim this article is worthless.
