    Well the first two comments are ... (I would like to make a comment here but I won't. It just shows their ignorance). This is simple business 101 people. When business is good you hire people. When business is down, read mortgage originations, you can't keep people who will have nothing to do but sit around. It doesn't matter if you are a bank, mortgage banker or mortgage broker. No business can afford to have non producing people on the payroll. No business owes anyone a job. That is not how business works.
