As the year draws to a close, here are 10 things that could - but probably won't - happen in the global economy

    I don't think #6 is all that unrealistic. In fact, I've been saying the last 4 months this increase in rates is short lived and we will see without any doubt interest rates create new historic lows. Whether it occurs in 2014 or 2015 is yet to be determined but it will happen.

    If you are right, Keith, and I hope you are, AND private money comes back into play, the mortgage industry could become quite fun again in 2014... here's hoping...

    I like the term the "Housing market is effectively on life support", and yet the CFPB
    continues to put further rules and regulations (QM, ATR, broker comp rules)in place that only make it more difficult and expensive for the brker and borrower to get a home mortgage transaction completed!
